We’re feeling at home at the @danusocialhouse following on from the success of last evening where we had our most readers EVER. Last month was so great in fact that we’re asking readers to turn up at 7:30 to sign up. We’ll be moving things a bit faster so that while we still have loads of great readers, we’ll have time for hangs and letting folks get home at a sociable-ish time, too. And a gentle reminder about our 10-minute maximum rule, so everyone gets their chance at the mic. Remember—all genres and forms welcome, no matter how deep into the “miscellaneous” section of the bookstore you’d be. Late night thoughts tapped into blue light-emitting screens, reexaminations of your most profound coffee shop orders, manuscripts deemed too mundane for publication in the Service Ontario weekly internal newsletter—we want to hear it.
